Job Description
Elfmed a leading company having operations are Rafic Hariri Beirut International Airport is seeking to recruit a person as deputy station manager for the facility refueling aircrafts. The management of the station consists of the reception the storage and the delivery of Jet A1 fuel to the aircraft in a safe environment and according to the latest safety and directives for refueling operatiopns at international airports.
Role and Responsibilities
Deputy managers have many responsibility within a typical organization. Working side-by-side with the station manager, your role as a deputy manager requires great leadership skills, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to work with employees from all departments within the company.
The deputy station manager works and coordinates withcontractors directly or assists employees to perform their job duties properly. This requires good time management;
- Assist the manager in organizing, planning and implementing the operations for the refueling of aircrafts
- Coordinate operations between marketers
- Follow up the compilation and Stock analysis
- Develop and implement technical and engineering projects
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary to meet the JIG requirements,
- scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance and ensuring the availability of resources
- Ensure schedules and objectives are met
- Supervise and motivate staff
- Monitor operating costs, budgets and resources
- Create reports, analyze and interpret data
- Drive recruitment process and training & development
- Monitor the attendances and leaves
- Secure adherence to company’s policies and guidelines
Aims
Ensure the flow of fuel through the depot, from the reception through the storage to the wing of the aircraftpl under optimal conditions of quality, safety and cost
Ensure the proper organizational supervision of aviation personnel in accordance with the standards
Follow corrective actions resulting from international or local inspections in order to maintain an acceptable level of aviation activity
Profile
- Mechanical / Industrial / Electrical Engineer
- Relevant work experience in aviation depot / airports similar environment
- 5 to 7 years of Experience
- Fluent in English, Arabic French is a plus
- Strong personality and integrity
