Job Description

As Marketing Manager, you will be required to:

  • Manage the development of the strategic activation of the Ruwais brand and the implementation of the brand strategy for the city.
  • Create and manage implementation of integrated marketing campaigns that enhance the image and awareness of the Ruwais brand to its target audiences
  • Manage key brand and advertising activities through effective utilization of available communication channels to deliver message successfully.
  • Manage relationship with external branding agency to ensure successful completion of key brand deliverables – guidelines, templates, brochure, welcome kits and videos.
  • Assist in the development of PR plans to promote the Ruwais brand to target audiences and influence accordingly.
  • Manage digital channels and online brand presence for Ruwais across website, community portal and mobile app ensuring relevant content and maximum visibility.
  • Ensure the brand identity is adhered to in all campaigns and across all communication channels with maximum exposure achieved across mediums – radio, outdoor, online, events/exhibitions, social media and print.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders (residents, schools, hospital, retailers) through effective communication to ensure message is on brand.
  • Effective communication of Ruwais and Al Dhafra events calendar to maximize reach to target audiences.
  • Take ownership for the organization of presence at trade shows or exhibitions ensuring strong brand visibility and key objectives are met.
  • Manage partnership and sponsorship marketing from development of events through to successful implementation of agreed activities and ensuring appropriate brand exposure.
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities for Community Engagement team to target markets.
  • Conduct research to understand resident needs through community focal point meetings, open forums and emoji stations with continuous analysis to identify insights.
  • Primary communications manager for brand’s social media strategy and overseeing implementation of strategy across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, YouTube
  • Manage media and advertising plan for Ruwais brand and ensuring maximum ROI for spend and brand.
  • Monitor and assist in ensuring achievement of the brand and Community Engagement KPIs – resident sentiment, media reach, social media engagement and community activations.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in a relevant brand and/or marketing role. Minimum 3 years’ experience as manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Good Knowledge of English and Arabic. Excellent presentation skills

Location:

This position is based in Al Ruwais; a town located 240 km west of Abu Dhabi city and approx. 2 hours’ drive from the city centre.  Ruwais is a young but growing town, with a full set of amenities to suit individual and family life.

Total Salary: Dependent on Candidate experience.
