Job Description
The Aluminum Installation Team Leader should be able to lead a team on site with various installations. He is responsible for the company’s tools and managing of team members’ productivity. He should possess good judgment of measurements for manufacturing and problem solving skills. The candidate must be a good communicator with management. He is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed in an efficient and timely manner and to a high standard of quality.
Duties and Responsibilities
Install aluminum doors, frames, windows, curtain wall and other aluminum and glass products on job sites.
Repair existing doors, frames, windows, hardware, locks and closures
Must be proficient in the use of various hand and power tools including but not limited to a tape measure, hammer, electric saws, sanders, jig saw, hammer drill, demolition saw, etc.
Use various metal cutting hand and power tools to create cutouts as required
Install, troubleshoot, perform maintenance and repairs to aluminum works
Deliver timely and effective installation and repairs to ensure optimal system performance
Interface with customers in a positive and professional manner
Lead team and work at the direction of project manager supervision
Follow project schedules to ensure timely delivery of project goals and expectations
Consult with necessary personnel and entities to determine functional requirements and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time
May operate heavy equipment or equipment that requires technical expertise or specialized training
Work Schedule: 7:15 a.m to 4:30 pm
May include reporting to work after hours
Education: Technical experience in the field
Experience: At least 5 years in aluminum installation
