SCOPE OF THE JOB

The E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for ensuring proper & efficient running of the E-commerce processes. He/ She is also responsible for assisting in the right implementation of online marketing plans to boost the site tracks and maximize sales in all countries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze sales and inventory reports in order to maximize sales and meet stock performance objectives for the online shop.
  • Assist in the implementation of the online shop strategy including the roadmap, planning and daily operations to ensure the delivery of high standards customer service and maximize sales in line with the company objectives and targets.
  • Support the E-commerce Manager in managing the annual e-commerce budget and financial performance by overseeing detailed reports, across track acquisition, website management and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure proper implementation of the operation cycle of the e-commerce shop to increase customers’ satisfaction, including site performance, speed and quality of service, order fulfillment and deliveries.
  • Maintain high level of customer service & ensure customers’ complaints are treated professionally and solved on time.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of multi-channel (through various platforms) action plans for the online shop to ensure alignment in the brand experience between the online and physical shops (Including Click & Collect, returns, inquiries, and stocks. Etc...).
  • Stay informed and up-to-date with the competitive scene in the local and regional market to identify threats and opportunities related to the successful performance of the online shop.
  • Train, motivate and evaluate the team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.
  • Oversee all purchase orders & processes, to ensure continuous system update with proper and accurate stock level.
  • Monitor & evaluate user’s behavior, through defining and generating appropriate reporting system.
  • Maintain an appropriate designs, programing, debugging and testing of the platform. 
  • Coordinate closely with the Marketing team on ongoing campaigns and E-commerce social media posts.
  • Maintain the website platform (Shopify) & implement the needed enhancement & customization in order to have a better performance.
  • Analyze & optimize a strategic communication plan through effective presence on social media & ads (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Criteo Ads etc…)
  • Cooperate with the Accounting team to conserve proper & accurate financials.
  • Develop procedures to continually streamline existing processes by identifying inefficiencies and creating plans for improvement.  
  • Conduct regular visits to countries within our expansion, in order to improve the online shop performance.
  • Perform other duties that are aligned & related to the job scope.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing; Master’s is a plus.
  • Experience:  At least 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role out of which a minimum of 2 years in E-commerce field.
  • Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken English and Arabic, French is a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge in MS Office.
