Responsibilities:
Customer Transactions:
Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other forms of payments.
Provide receipts and change to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
Product Knowledge:
Familiarize yourself with the furniture products available in the store to assist customers with inquiries.
Collaborate with sales associates to provide accurate information about prices, promotions, and product availability.
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with any questions or concerns.
Resolve customer issues or complaints related to transactions with professionalism and patience.
Maintain a positive and helpful attitude to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Cash Management:
Ensure the accuracy of the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Handle cash securely, following company policies and procedures.
Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile transactions.
Maintain Clean and Organized Workspace:
Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
Arrange merchandise and promotional materials at the checkout area.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, including sales associates and store management, to provide a seamless customer experience.
Compliance:
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Stay informed about promotions, discounts, and special offers to communicate effectively with customers.
Security:

Qualifications:
