Outside Mike Sport : 
Suppliers, Forwarders, Clearing Agents, Insurance, Clearing Officer.

SCOPE OF THE JOB
The Logistics Officer is responsible for proactively handling and analyzing logistics services as per the set business operating schedules & timetable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Receive, review and process timely shipping and delivery documentations from suppliers, forwarders, clearing agents and insurance companies.
    Maintain proper coordination internally, with the logistics team and the Commercial department on internal shipments and, externally, with forwarders, clearing agents, insurance brokers and suppliers on all issues related to external shipments. 
    Receive/follow up on execution of item requests to ensure they are properly shipped, cleared and insured.
    Maintain an updated database of local, national and international forwarders and suppliers ensuring records’ accuracy.
    Coordinate closely with warehouse team on shipments delivery ahead of time, in order to ensure smooth reception of goods.
    Collect, oversee and negotiate quotations from various import & export suppliers under the supervision of the senior logistics specialist.
    Ensure proper coordination on pre-requisite payments to be aligned with the company payment terms.
    Follow the departmental Policies & Procedures, in adherence to identified legal requirements & regulations.
    Assess constantly, the logistics network ensuring optimal services to the business.
    Perform other duties that are aligned & related to the job scope.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field.
    Experience:  3 to 4 years of experience in related field.
    Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken English, other languages are a plus.
    Computer Skills: Advanced/ Extensive knowledge in MS Office
