Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Site Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all mechanical works at the construction site in accordance with approved plans and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the required mechanical shop drawings using Auto CAD to be followed with As-Built drawings.
• Implement and monitor all Mechanical-related works on site as per approved drawings and methods, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist the Project Manager in scheduling tasks related to Mechanical works and achieving project goals
• Provide accurate material takeoffs for both purchases and executed materials on site.
• Conduct site inspections as required and prepare reports accordingly.
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Attend regular site progress meetings.
• Manage testing, commissioning, training, and handover of mechanical, and plumbing deliverables to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical system installation, and site activities for building construction projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings and manage Mechanical work groups.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
