SCOPE OF THE JOB:

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for running the online shops by managing the sales, operations and budget. He/ She carries out online marketing plans to boost the site tracks and maximize sales in both local & international markets.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership & Managerial:

  • Train, motivate and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.
  • Oversee the team’s daily operations and ensure timely execution of tasks related to product uploads, marketing campaigns, order fulfillment, and customer service.

 

Strategy & Budgeting:

  • Lead the online shop strategy including the roadmap, planning and daily operations to ensure the delivery of high standard customer service and maximize sales in line with the company objectives and targets.
  • Stay informed and up to date with the competitive scene in the local and regional market to identify threats and opportunities related to the successful performance of the online shop.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of ecommerce initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the E-Commerce platform, including product listings, pricing, promotions, fulfillment, and inventory management.
  • Manage the annual e-commerce budget and financial performance by overseeing detailed reports, across track acquisition, website management and order fulfillment.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to maintain the competitiveness of the E-Commerce platform.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to optimize E-Commerce operations.
  • Manage the end-to-end operation cycle of the e-commerce shop to increase customers’ satisfaction, including site performance, speed and quality of service, order fulfillment and deliveries.

 

Development & Execution:

  • Develop and implement the E-Commerce strategy to boost online sales and enhance customer experience.
  • Create and implement e-commerce annual business, marketing and sales plans.
  • Develop and implement multi-channel (through various platforms) action plans for the online shop to ensure alignment in the brand experience between the online and physical shops (Including Click & Collect, returns, inquiries, and stocks. Etc...).
  • Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.

 

Reporting:

  • Analyze website performance metrics and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure stock levels are effectively managed and controlled by constantly analyzing sales and inventory reports in order to maximize sales and meet stock performance objectives for the online shop.
  • Perform other duties that are aligned & related to the job scope.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing; Master’s is a plus.
  • Experience:  At least 10 years of experience in a similar role out of which a minimum of 4 years in e-commerce management (ideally in a multi-channel environment).
  • Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken English and Arabic, French is a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge in MS Office.
