Summary:

The Art Director is responsible for developing and maintaining the visual style and creative direction of the brand. He/she is also responsible for overseeing the design process across all visual platforms, ensuring consistency, creativity, and alignment with brand identity and marketing objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand & Creative Leadership

  • Own and evolve the brand’s visual identity across all platforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation
  • Translate brand strategy, campaigns, and product stories into strong visual concepts
  • Act as guardian of brand guidelines and creative standards

 

Campaign & Content Direction:

 

  • Lead the creative direction for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotions
  • Develop concepts for digital, social, e-commerce, retail environments, and advertising
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, E-commerce, Merchandising, and Product teams

 

Design & Execution

  • Oversee design of assets, including:
    • Website and app visuals
    • Social media and performance marketing assets
    • In-store signage, POS, and retail experiences
    • Lookbooks, catalogues, and brand presentations
  • Ensure visuals support both brand storytelling and commercial goals

 

Team & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire designers, photographers, and external agencies
  • Provide clear creative direction, feedback, and quality control
  • Manage workflows, timelines, and creative resources efficiently

 

Production & Shoot Direction

  • Art direct photo and video shoots (studio and lifestyle), ensuring alignment with brand tone and product positioning
  • Work with photographers, stylists, models, and production teams to deliver high-quality content

 

Trend & Market Awareness

  • Stay up to date with sports, fashion, design, and digital trends
  • Analyze competitors and consumer behavior to keep the brand visually relevant and differentiated

 

  • Perform other duties that are aligned & related to the job scope

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign work, branding, and multi-channel execution
  • Deep understanding of visual storytelling, typography, layout, color, and composition
  • Experience working with e-commerce and performance-driven creative
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to balance creativity with commercial objectives

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Designer
  • Experience:  5+ years of experience in art direction or senior design. Retail experience is a must
  • Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken English and Arabic
  • Computer Skills: Advanced/ Extensive knowledge in MS Office; Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma is a plus
