SCOPE OF THE JOB
The Senior Social Media is responsible for managing and enhancing our social media channels, with a focus on content creation. He/she is also responsible for requiring a creative individual who can develop engaging content, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with various teams to support our brand’s objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop social media strategies that align with marketing goals and objectives
- Own the social media content calendar, ensuring consistency across platforms and campaigns
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement, and respond appropriately to build relationships with our audience
- Utilize insights to optimize future content and strategies
Content & Creative Direction
- Lead the ideation and creation of engaging content, including short-form video, static posts, stories, and live content
- Collaborate with Creative, Art Direction, Events, and Influencer teams to deliver high-quality content
- Create visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content that align with our brand’s voice and marketing objectives
- Ensure all content reflects brand tone, visual identity, and sports culture relevance
Campaign & Performance Marketing
- Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and retail promotions through social storytelling
- Work closely with Performance Marketing and E-commerce teams to optimize paid social creatives
- Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, conversion) and optimize accordingly
Influencer & Partnership Support
- Support influencer and athlete partnerships from a social media perspective
- Brief creators, review content, and ensure alignment with brand and platform best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our content relevant and innovative
- Experiment with new approaches and techniques to improve engagement and reach
Analytics & Reporting
- Benchmark against competitors and industry best practices, in terms of trends and product innovations.
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to track the effectiveness of social media campaigns and content
Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Retail, PR, Events, and E-commerce teams
- Manage external agencies or freelance creators when required
- Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to gather content ideas and ensure brand consistency across all channels
- Perform other duties that are aligned & related to the job scope
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in Social Media management, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok, content creation, and editing. Retail experience is a plus
- Linguistic Skills: Fluency in English, French is a plus
- Computer Skills: Experience with social analytics and management tools (e.g. Sprout, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics)
