SCOPE OF THE JOB

The Junior Accountant is responsible for daily reconciliations, accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the monthly financial closing for all adidas branches.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

• Record expense invoices and reconcile vendor accounts to maintain accurate payables
• Assist in categorizing adidas invoices
• Send yearly balance confirmations and reconcile vendor SOA

Reporting & Data Management

• Monitor and update store voucher usage in the shared tracking file
• Upload monthly bank statements into the financial system
• Extract on-hand inventory and net sales data from Retail Pro for reporting and analysis
• Verify the credit cards report and prepare the necessary reconciliations
• Extract and update adidas invoice status report

Bank Reconciliation

• Reconcile daily sales between fiscal printer, Z-report, and Navision
• Process bank deposits and verify the accuracy of credit card transactions
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with financial records
• Perform other duties that are aligned & related to the job scope.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience:  At least 1 year of general accounting experience at related industries
• Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken English, French is a plus
• Computer Skills: Extensive knowledge in MS Office
