SCOPE OF THE JOB
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent to meet the structural needs of the organization. He/she will work closely with Department Managers to understand their requirements, develop recruitment strategies, and manage the entire candidate selection process while enhancing the organizational capability and retention.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and preparing job offers.
- Utilize diverse sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals) to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the job requirements, ensuring that all is reflected in our database.
- Screen resumes and applications to shortlist candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Conduct interviews, utilizing structured interview techniques and behavioral assessments to gauge candidate suitability.
- Administer pre-employment assessments where applicable to assess technical skills, cognitive abilities, or personality traits
- Oversee the reference checks in order to obtain written confirmation of information submitted by the candidate.
- Ensure a positive and respectful experience for all candidates by providing regular communication, feedback, and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain open communication with hiring managers, providing regular updates on recruitment progress and timelines.
- Promote diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives throughout the recruitment process.
Strategic Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement innovative and effective talent acquisition strategies that align with the company's long-term goals.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and adjust approaches as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging talent acquisition technologies, sharing insights and best practices with the team.
- Ensure that the recruitment process complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify current and future staffing needs in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop comprehensive recruitment strategies tailored to each department, considering market trends and competitive landscape.
- Partner with the marketing team to enhance employer branding initiatives, showcasing Mike Sport as an employer of choice through various channels.
- Engage with alumni networks to source potential candidates and maintain relationships with former employees who may refer talent.
- Mentor and guide junior talent acquisition team members, providing support and sharing knowledge to enhance their skills.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the HR team, encouraging knowledge sharing and collective problem-solving.
Administration & Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction to evaluate and improve recruitment effectiveness.
- Draft & review related Talent Acquisition policies & procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws & procedures.
- Update on a monthly basis the HR monthly report, new joiners, retention & vacancies.
- Coordinate on the onboarding process and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Follow-up with Head of departments on the new hires throughout their probationary periods.
- Implement and ensure compliance with Talent Acquisition policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties that are aligned and related to the job scope.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in similar field, Strong knowledge of HR systems, Strong knowledge of the country’s laws & regulations.
- Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken English.
- Computer Skills: Advanced/ Extensive knowledge in MS Office (Especially in Excel);
Navision exposure is a plus.
