SCOPE OF THE JOB
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for coordinating and executing all visual elements for Mike Sport, including layouts, artwork, and print materials. This role involves developing and adapting creative concepts across store branding, window displays, campaigns, and digital content. He/She is also responsible for ensuring all visuals are engaging, aligned with brand guidelines, and support the company’s marketing objectives with a high standard of professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production & Campaigns:
- Design and develop visual content for retail campaigns, promotional events, social media, newsletters, website banners, and in-store materials
- Ensure that all corporate publications & creative materials are provided in a correct format, including file preparation, output & printing, within given timeframes and budgets
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure all printed media and store material are produced according to high standards of graphics and designs and in line with the Brand guidelines
- Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts while following up on their proper execution, making sure they are in line with the promotions' marketing calendar
- Administer the production of corporate services publications
- Develop and execute creative concepts for campaigns, products, promotions, and branding initiatives
- Adapt creative assets based on marketing briefs and seasonal calendars
- Support the Social Media Team with content creation for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and paid ads
- Develop branding concepts for windows, POS displays, store visuals, and activations
- Coordinate with suppliers and printers to ensure quality output of all printed materials and signage, ensuring that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and visual identity standards
- Prepare and deliver artwork files in the correct formats and high resolution, ensuring they meet quality standards for printing, web, and other usage requirements
- Maintain brand consistency across all media and platforms
- Collaborate on creative brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and product launches
- Ensure timely delivery of creative assets across departments
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to understand project goals and deliver effective visual solutions
- Support in-store visual merchandising through signage, POS materials, and window displays
Strategy & Analytics:
- Use original and creative thinking methods to direct and develop graphic concepts and new ideas in line with the overall marketing strategy
- Implement cohesive internal and external advertising packages
- Follow the set guidelines for each brand owner to maintain quality compliance
- Stay up to date with the latest graphic design software and techniques to accordingly recommend tools and digital content formats that can be efficiently applied in Mike Sport
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Virtual & Fine Arts/ Graphic Design or any related field
- Experience: At least 5 years of Design experience at an agency or related industries
- Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken English & Arabic, French is a plus
- Computer Skills: Extensive knowledge in Ms. Office and graphic software, such as Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator on Mac OSX platform
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite & PowerPoint is a plus
