Job Description

To install, maintain and troubleshoot; networks, hardware and software for clients and live up to the clients’ satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

1.      Networks, Hardware & Software Installations & Troubleshooting:

a.      Install and configure networking equipment

b.      Install and administer computer hardware and software where required

c.       Troubleshoot networking, software, hardware and network operating systems

d.      Assist employees in learning the programs and applying techniques

2.      Call Handling

a.      Ability to prioritize calls

b.      Ability to resolve calls effectively within reasonable time

c.       Troubleshoot problems utilizing the appropriate hardware, database and programming technology

3.      Administration:

a.      Document previously written and or newly introduced programs as soft and hard copy

b.      Document problems and resolution for future reference

c.       Submit reports where required

d.      Support in other IT related tasks when required by the superiors

Job Specifications

1.      Education:

BS in computer science or its equivalence

Cisco CCNA is a plus

Microsoft MCP is a plus

 

2.      Work Experience:

4+ years of experience

 

3.      Languages:

English and Arabic, spoken and written

 

4.      Specific Skills:

a.      Effective communication skills

b.      Analytical and problem solving skills

c.       Organizational and administrative capacity

d.      Team player

e.      Self-managed

f.        Willing to learn
