Job Description

 

In coordination with Marketing, prepare and implement the sales action plan (product launching strategies…) for his/her team

  • Develop contact with decision maker(s) & key persons in medical institutions in order to meet target (customer retention & development).
  • Ensure complete & timely territory coverage
  • Coach sales representatives to ensure effectiveness of sales calls
  • Implement market development activities
  • Control Cost sheets prepared by sales representative and approve them
  • Get approval from General Manager on cost sheets related to quotations to clients.
  • Ensure, through periodic sales meetings, target achievement follow-up and communication to Management and Sales Representatives.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Follow-up on product availability & timely delivery with Logistics. Closely monitor “out-of-stock” situations
  • Coordinate with Engineering and anticipate customer needs (pre-installation requirements) and ensure effective/timely installation
  • Enforce control of credit facilities and limits. Inform Finance of possible cost incurred through L/C opening to embed in product cost
  • Approve correspondence and needed documentation for quotations, bids and tenders for Delete governmental & private institutions
  • Manage new business development (business plans)
  • Coordinate with sales representatives to ensure data collection on competition’s activities & products, and report data to Management & Marketing.
  • Carry out periodic review of existing incentive schemes, and recommend changes if needed.
  • Properly communicate to team members their job roles and responsibilities, and ensure their fulfillment
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance at least once a year, preferably twice.
  • Ensure team adherence and compliance to rules and regulations to enhance work performance.
  • Promote spirit of co-operation and teamwork among the team for optimum productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure adequate training is given to team members
  • Motivate team to achieve excellence in their job performance and career path development.
  • Prepare & participate in medical congresses & exhibitions in order to develop contacts with suppliers and clients
