Job Description
Promotes and implements food safety standards and techniques throughout the organization
Supervise staff members and evaluate performance efficiency
Writes new food safety documents when necessary
Ensure that resources such as equipment and medications are available
Persuades reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate food safety methods
Works with purchasing to establish and update the Approved Supplier List
Works with maintenance staff to establish and maintain the Maintenance Program and the Approved Supplier List
Works with department supervisors to establish and maintain the Cleaning Program
Reviews production testing reports traceability forms and others for accuracy completeness and compliance to requirements
Maintains current and accurate records of all audits corrective action
Maintains all present Log sheets and ensures the execution of the proposed actions
Analyses the results of all verification activities including laboratory tests
Conducts internal audit according to the training program
Performs any other tasks which may be assigned by the Quality Manager
Requirements
Looking for a candidate for the position of Food Safety and health Supervisor with the following qualifications:
Holding a degree in Nutrition and dietetics or Food Science and management or degree related with health
2 to 3 years of experience in the field of food production/food safety/quality control
