Qualifications:
Major: Finance, Economics, CFA is a plus
Experience: 3 to 5 years, pharma is a plus
Responsibilities:
Strategic and Financial Analysis
- Portfolio performance: Maintain Product /Country Profitability Database; conduct profitability analysis, define areas for improvements for Algorithm
- 3 year Long Range Plan: develop and maintain 3 year P&L and Product Database
- Financial Analysis.
- Budget Year: Develop P&L for Algorithm; test against benchmarks and guidelines ; identify areas for improvements & develop recommendations/ guidelines; work with the functional owners to refine and validate
- Monitoring: monitoring of revenues and spend and working capital / capex against budget, flag areas of underachievement and work with functional owners. Conduct detailed account /supplier analysis.
- Maintain Risk Assessment Sheet
Budget Approval and Financial Monitoring
- Budget Process Management : Templates and Doc preparation for Kick-off, Support in communication with individual owners to provide guidance on how to populate, consolidate and coordinate collection of reports, conduct analysis to pressure test financial viability of P&L,
- Reports Issuance: accurately populate existing reports, suggest and develop new ones as need arise ; work with functional owners to validate revenues and spend develop recommendation and action plan
Spend Effectiveness / Other Strategic Projects
- Analysis/Diagnosis: Developed quantitative analysis.
- Recommendation: Synthesize results and develop solutions, develop integrated work plan withy clear owners and timelines, get functional owners on board
- Implementation: project manage implementation to ensure savings are captured
