Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Prospecting – Utilize materials provided to systematically call upon all businesses in your area understanding what those businesses do and who the key players are.

2. Develop a personal rapport with your customers to become a valuable resource for any item in the printing and advertising field.

3. Have a good grasp of product information so as to recommend the best solution to a customer for their printing and signage needs.

4. Carefully record all information necessary to produce an accurate and timely estimate.

5. Prepare estimates so the customer has a clear understanding of the scope of work covered and the limitations of the activity to which MasterLam is being contracted for.

6. Skilled at handling objections, offering alternative, and closing the sale.

7. Adequately communicates the scope of the work and needs of the customer to the Designers and Production staff.

8. Skilled at selling the customer on the value of our products and services and not on low pricing.

9. Follows up on outstanding estimates and seeks to close at all times.

10. Offers suggestions for more efficient marketing activity, marketing materials, and potential specials or events to promote.

11. Watches for changes in their market area to stay ahead of activity that may produce changes in print and sign needs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5 years business to business sales experience

Minimum of 4 years Digital Printing and Solutions sales experience

Extensive knowledge and application of Digital Printing concepts

Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Graphic Design or any related field

Good communication and people skills

Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills

Must be easy-going, adaptable, quality conscious and professional.

Well organized and people person with excellent phone handling skills

Able to cross sell and up sell products and services

Able to work collaboratively
