Job Description
A well-established food distribution organization is looking for a Junior accountant. The position includes the following responsibilities:
- Conducting daily journal vouchers entry and archiving them
- Conducting NSSF funds subscriptions
- Conducting excel trackers that helps following up on the payables and receivables as per the legal agreement singed with the clients and the suppliers
- Preparing and updating a list of suppliers and contacting them in order to collect their dues
- Sorting daily sales receivables report
- Coordinating with the finance department in order to frequently deliver accounting documents required in the preparation of the financial analysis and budgeting reports
- Assisting in bank reconciliations
- Assisting in client reconciliation and statement periodic preparation
- Assisting in the preparation of the clients’ aging report
- Making sure that all proper documentations and signatures are as per agreed protocols before the payment is approved
- Gathering the concerned documents required by the financial auditors
- Assisting the department in preparing taxation related reports
- Assisting in the periodic inventory control
