Job Description
A well-established food distribution organization is looking for a sales manager. The position includes the following responsibilities:
- Structuring, establishes and implementing sales SOP s Standard operation procedures
- Conducting frequent sales training to the sales team
- Establishing sales target and makes sure the sales meets them based on the SMART objectives concept
- Developing and implementing the sales strategies
- Managing the sales team, motivating and inspiring the team
- Taking charge and following up on the key account clients directly
- Presenting to the management weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports: Sales turnover, sales expenditures, Aging, report, clients claim reports
- Staying up to date regarding the surrounding sales industry and regarding the status of the competitors
- Conducting SWOT analysis for new potential local market
- Ensuring appropriate coverage, wide distribution and quality service of the sales
- Negotiating commercial agreements of actual and new clients
- Searching for potential new clients
- Allocating the weakness in the sales team, and sales turnover and according establishes a plan and incentives to boost the sales
- Liaising with the procurement department in order to keep a functional chain of incoming products
- Liaising with the Warehousing department in order to follow up on the inventory reports and on the available current inventory
