SCOPE OF THE JOB:

We are looking for a highly skilled marketing manager to represent and lead on Mike Sport’s brand and mission – while being costumer obsessed.Our ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience with innovative and disruptive ideas to deliver best in class customer experiences, while fostering a competitive edge and driving growth.This role is cross regional and will require coordination across multiple markets and offices.He/she will lead a team of marketers and own the relationship with suppliers, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership & Managerial:

  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Work on developing and growing the team’s expertise as part of career development and succession planning
  • Delegate tasks effectively to the team and ensure that they have the needed skills to succeed in order to have an effective and efficient flow of activities
  • Lead strong relationship with media partners, stores and external parties to maximize marketing and advertising opportunities
  • Report on quarterly and yearly plans to the leadership team

Strategy & Budgeting:

  • Develop integrated marketing strategies in order to obtain set of objectives in terms of revenues, profitability and market share while preserving a consistent corporate image in all campaigns, promotions, and events
  • Adapt regional content strategies by applying insights from local markets
  • Analyze market dynamics, competition and consumer behavioral changes by staying abreast of market trends to add value to the business and adjust the strategy execution accordingly
  • Manage budget expenditure and targets in terms of revenues and expenses
  • Meet sales and marketing objectives by forecasting brands’ requirements highlighting the efficiency of the campaigns recommending needed enhancements

Execution:

  • Lead the deployment of our marketing plans in each country, working closely with clients, management, creative and content teams, and distribution partners
  • Create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
  • Innovate and activate key launches, campaigns and collaborations in coordination with Brand Managers in order to increase online brands’ presence
  • Design, test and manage customer-facing digital solutions in order to elevate customer interaction across all touchpoints
  • Execute seasonal Marketing business plans based on the annual marketing strategy and the country business plan in order to increase traffic, average basket and conversion rates by understanding consumer behavior, requirements and competitors’ share
  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and in-store visuals
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups

Reporting & forecasting:

  • Determine and define metrics for calculating ROI that are benchmarked against the business goals and industry standards
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust advertising campaigns accordingly

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Marketing.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Marketing field, Retail Marketing experience is a plus.
  • Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken English, Arabic is a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced/ Extensive knowledge in MS Office
