We are looking for a Head Baker who can produce high-quality baked goods while supervising a team of bakers. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience baking and managing a team in a professional kitchen. He will be responsible for creating new recipes, as well as overseeing the production of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. He will also be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee all baking operations for the assigned shift, including breads, pastries, pies, cakes, and other desserts
• Managing the staff of bakers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising them
• Creating new recipes for products such as breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked good.
• Ensure that all baked goods are prepared according to recipes and specifications, and that they meet or exceed quality standards
• Measuring ingredients to create recipes and ensure that they are consistent each time they are made
• Testing new recipes to improve taste or texture
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure that all baking equipment is properly sanitized
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
• Decorate cakes and other desserts as needed
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed
• Assist with other tasks as needed
• Communicating with other members of the foodservice team to ensure that orders are delivered on time and that production runs smoothly
