Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Keeper. As an Assistant Store Keeper, you will work closely with the Store Keeper to ensure the efficient operation of our store and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Keeper in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems.
Organize and arrange products in the store to optimize space utilization.
Monitor stock levels and submit replenishment orders when necessary.
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the store at all times.
Assist in conducting regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and resolve them.
Collaborate with the Store Keeper to implement effective loss prevention measures.
Follow proper safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Provide support in other store-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in inventory management or related field is a plus.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Knowledge of proper handling and storage of different types of products.
