Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR department, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration to support our organization's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the recruitment and selection process by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring decision.
  2. Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  3. Coordinate employee performance evaluation processes.
  4. Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  5. Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  6. Maintain employee records and ensure all HR databases are up to date.
  7. Process payroll and benefits administration tasks.
  8. Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with organizational objectives.
  9. Conduct research and analysis on HR trends and best practices.
  10. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
  2. Knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
  3. Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll software.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  6. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field (preferred).
  7. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
